Flock Safety is hiring a Regional Account Executive (Bay Area)

About the Role

Flock Safety is looking for a Regional Account Executive (Bay Area) to lead full-cycle software sales within the public sector, focusing on demand generation, partnerships, and outbound strategies across Northern California. This remote field sales position plays a critical role in expanding our presence in law enforcement and public safety agencies.

What You'll Do

  • Own demand generation, partnerships, and full cycle software sales in a single market
  • Develop new business using outbound sales strategies
  • Learn the market and understand existing customers
  • Meet peers and internal teams to align on territory strategy
  • Understand law enforcement (LE) use cases and become an industry expert
  • Pass Demo Certification to receive Book of Accounts
  • Conduct outbound activity beyond required training
  • Build territory and drive pipeline through outbound efforts and LE referrals
  • Join Customer Success Management (CSM) calls
  • Set up weekly 1:1s with Director and participate in cross-functional bi-weekly meetings
  • Shadow in-person sales interactions
  • Create 16+ opportunities and close first deal within first 60 days
  • Maintain accurate forecasting
  • Attend weekly and bi-weekly check-ins with Director and cross-functional teams
  • Meet with current customers for ride-alongs, including community liaison officers and dispatchers
  • Complete meetings with net new logos
  • Create 20+ opportunities and close 7 deals by 90 days

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years of full cycle sales experience
  • Emphasis on outside/field software sales
  • Self-starter mentality with willingness to learn, take initiative, and produce results
  • Experience using outbound sales strategies to develop new business within a defined territory
  • Ability to quickly digest and learn technical products
  • Become a subject matter expert for clients
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills
  • Energized by solving customer problems using a consultative sales approach
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, data-driven sales environment
  • Must live local to the Northern California territory
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification
  • Must meet all FBI CJIS Security Policy requirements, including a fingerprint-based background check

Base salary determined by job-related experience, education/training, and market indicators; starting OTE of $250,000. Includes Flock Safety Stock Options and uncapped commissions.

Work Mode

100% remote field sales with up to 50% regional travel during peak seasons. Must be local to the Northern California or Bay Area region.
