Volkswagen Group is hiring a Region Operations & Distribution Specialist to support automotive sales operations with a focus on retail and distribution analysis. This role is designed to build expertise leading to a future dealer-facing field role or corporate senior specialist position. You will analyze data, create reports and presentations for business decisions, and support regional strategy in Southern CA.
What You'll Do
- Support SDRO/RVP in data analysis, region presentation development, and ad hoc assignments.
- Assist in the development and execution of regional incentive programs for New and CPO vehicles.
- Assist SOM/SDRO in the comprehensive monthly go-to-market strategy, including coordination of monthly dealership kick-off calls.
- Coordinate and communicate monthly/weekly forecasts for New and Pre-owned business.
- Manage budgeting and tracking of the purple folder process and region/area dealer incentives.
- Provide monthly accounting of the region budget including tracking, analysis, and forecasting.
- Collaborate across regions to improve processes, planning, and advanced use of digital tools.
- Support and educate region colleagues with training for digital reporting tools like Tableau.
- Manage the creation & distribution of Region communications to Dealers and Field teams.
- Support region-level events including annual Region meetings, bi-annual Dealer sales meetings, and incentive trips.
- Act as the key liaison to the region field team on distribution topics including allocation, availability, ordering, and transportation.
- Support the RSOM with reporting and analysis of sales performance metrics with an emphasis on distribution topics.
- Manage all preparation and publishing of the dealer allocation process to the field teams each month.
- Provide management with reports and presentations on vehicle ordering/allocation status and provide new model launch support.
- Handle KPI tracking and ad hoc sales, inventory, and forecast reporting.
- Conduct detailed inventory and build analysis and provide port installed accessory support.
- Produce registration, sales effectiveness, and market share reporting and analysis.
- Manage 5-Star and loyalty reporting and analysis.
- Provide daily sales and month-end reporting primarily via Tableau and manage area-level incentive programs.
What We're Looking For
- 4–6 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business-related field.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to understand, organize, and present complex data.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills across multiple platforms.
- Cross-functional collaboration skills among multiple work groups including Region, Field, HQ, and Dealers.
- Problem-solving skills for analyzing complex problems and providing effective solutions.
- Resource management skills for optimizing time, data, and budget resources.
- Creative thinking skills to develop innovative reporting and analysis methods.
- Strong organization skills, including time management, follow-up, and deadline orientation.
- Meeting planning skills for designing effective meetings while managing multiple inputs and vendors.
- Expertise in the MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work full-time in the Audi Region with occasional travel to region, national, and dealer meetings.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business analytics.
- Expertise in database tools such as Business Objects, SQL, and Tableau.
- Background in or knowledge of the Automotive Industry.
- Understanding and application knowledge of Salesforce.
