APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is looking for a Recruiting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will utilize sourcing tools and networks to identify and attract qualified talent for exempt and nonexempt positions. You will assess candidates, manage the hiring process, and ensure a positive experience for both candidates and our internal hiring partners, supporting the organization's growth.
What You'll Do
- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Consult with hiring partners and regional leaders to identify business recruitment needs.
- Post and update new positions on company and career websites.
- Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing strategy for each open position.
- Manage candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle using our Applicant Tracking System (Success Factors).
- Build networks and utilize sourcing tools to find qualified passive candidates.
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers and HR partners.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate travel accommodations.
- Prepare and distribute Talent Acquisition reports in a timely fashion and on an ad-hoc basis.
- Prepare and lead presentations to provide Talent Acquisition updates to stakeholders.
- Support college recruiting initiatives and other recruiting events.
- Participate in special projects.
- Consistently manage a high volume of requisitions.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
- Minimum 4-year degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in recruiting or a similar HR-related position.
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading recruitment for salaried positions in multiple locations.
- Proficient in English written and verbal communication.
- Ability to professionally represent the company with external constituents.
- Strong customer service orientation and listening skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative and a team player.
- Agility and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent time management and priority-setting skills.
- Adherence to safety requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
