ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is looking for a Recruiter / Lead Hunter to play a key role in identifying, engaging, and onboarding top talent in a competitive market. As a Recruitment Lead Hunter, you will proactively hunt for leads and create excitement around career opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Actively source and generate new candidate leads through calls, emails, and online channels.
- Engage with potential candidates to sell the opportunity and build excitement about joining the team.
- Follow up consistently with leads to ensure high conversion and successful placements.
- Communicate professionally with field staff and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate records of lead activity and candidate progress.
- Collaborate with the recruitment and operations teams to understand hiring needs and priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in recruiting, lead sourcing, or talent acquisition.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and self-driven.
- Strong phone presence and the ability to connect with potential candidates.
- Friendly, pleasant, and persuasive — able to 'sell' the opportunity effectively.
- Persistent and disciplined with follow-ups.
- Proficient in basic computer navigation, MS Office, and Outlook.
- Comfortable managing leads and candidate information in a CRM or ATS.
- Fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection.
- Reliable power backup solution to manage load shedding and power outages.
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting in U.S. healthcare.
Team & Environment
You will collaborate with the recruitment and operations teams.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. You must be available and working during EST (Eastern Standard Time) hours.
