About the Role
The recruiter will work closely with grantmaking leads to source, screen, and support candidates for funded opportunities, ensuring a fair, transparent, and efficient process aligned with equity goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to potential applicants for grant programs
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the application cycle
- Review submissions for completeness and alignment with program criteria
- Coordinate interviews and scheduling with selection committees
- Support the development of inclusive outreach strategies
- Track candidate progress using shared digital tools
- Gather and organize feedback from reviewers
- Ensure compliance with grant guidelines and internal policies
- Help refine application materials to improve accessibility
- Respond to candidate inquiries with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with team members to improve recruitment workflows
- Monitor diversity and inclusion metrics in applicant pools
- Maintain confidentiality of applicant information
- Assist in post-award onboarding communication
- Prepare regular updates on recruitment metrics
- Troubleshoot technical issues with application platforms
- Conduct outreach to underrepresented communities
- Summarize candidate trends for internal stakeholders
- Support the design of equitable evaluation rubrics
- Participate in training on bias and inclusion in selection
