In 2024, we recommended $650 million towards high-impact initiatives. Recruiting Team Overview Our organization has experienced rapid expansion, nearly doubling in size over two years. The Recruiting team has been instrumental in talent acquisition, managing every aspect from identifying hiring needs to extending final offers. Comprising eight members led by Phil Zealley, we develop comprehensive talent identification and evaluation systems, serving as the organizational hiring memory. Our recruiting approach involves three primary workstreams: pipeline development, round management, and active grantmaking support. This particular role focuses on the active grantmaking support workstream, which involves sourcing leaders for critical ecosystem initiatives. Role Responsibilities As a recruiter, you'll represent Coefficient Giving across candidate interactions, hiring processes, and external partnerships. Key responsibilities include: • Project Management: Coordinating founder search logistics, establishing evaluation protocols, and maintaining comprehensive backend systems. • Candidate Sourcing: Conducting screening assessments, identifying potential founders, particularly those newly engaged with AI risk landscapes. • Candidate Experience Management: Reviewing applications, conducting interviews, developing specialized evaluation mechanisms. • Network Development: Cultivating internal and external referral networks, managing relationships with partners and community organizers. • Search Firm Coordination: Managing relationships with executive search firms for specialized recruitment efforts. • Systematic Reporting: Maintaining tracking systems, advising program staff, ensuring legal compliance throughout recruitment processes.
