As a Recruiter, you will lead end-to-end hiring efforts for two key divisions within a national commercial real estate firm. Your primary focus will be identifying, attracting, and assessing top-tier talent to meet evolving business needs. You will take ownership of the entire recruitment lifecycle, from defining role requirements to extending offers, ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth job analyses to define position criteria and update job descriptions accordingly
- Source qualified candidates using LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, and other platforms to build sustainable talent pipelines
- Manage job postings across multiple channels, including job boards, academic institutions, and industry networks
- Review resumes and applications, conducting initial and follow-up screenings to evaluate technical and interpersonal qualifications
- Lead structured, competency-based, and situational interviews to assess candidate fit
- Coordinate and oversee assessment methods such as work samples, reference checks, and psychometric evaluations
- Maintain accurate records and generate detailed reports for leadership using ATS, CMS, and HRIS tools
- Act as the main point of contact for candidates, fostering strong relationships throughout the hiring process
- Promote the organization as a premier workplace through consistent, professional engagement
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years in recruitment, preferably within commercial real estate or specialized staffing
- Proven expertise in full-cycle hiring, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, candidate management platforms, and HR information systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment data and deliver actionable insights
- Exceptional communication abilities and a professional demeanor when interacting with candidates and stakeholders
- Must be based in the Eastern Time zone with availability for monthly in-person meetings in Washington, DC
Work Environment
This role operates on a hybrid basis, allowing for remote work with scheduled on-site visits to the Washington, DC office. The position requires reliable access to technology and strong organizational skills to manage a high-volume pipeline efficiently.
