Aware Inc. is hiring a Recreation Therapist to join our compassionate team. You will provide high-quality therapeutic recreation services to adults, children, and families, focusing on personal growth and helping clients become active, engaged community members.
What You'll Do
- Work remotely in an assigned location or region.
- Travel via personal or company vehicle to designated cities and regions to meet with clients.
- Assess and observe clients.
- Plan and implement Therapeutic Recreation interventions to increase client independence.
- Research and apply evidence-based practices in Therapeutic Recreation.
- Design TR protocols, session plans, and processes.
- Implement interventions sensitive to client age, cultural background, development stage, and limitations.
- Document and evaluate services for efficiency and quality.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation meeting NCTRC standards.
- Completion of an NCTRC-approved internship.
Nice to Have
- CTRS certification at hire is strongly preferred.
- If not certified, the ability to obtain national CTRS certification within one year of hire.

- Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
