The J.R. Simplot Company is hiring a temporary Receptionist to provide excellent front-line customer service from April to November 2026. You will be the welcoming face of our GF Plant in Pasco, handling inquiries from visitors, staff, and the general public.
What You'll Do
- Greet visitors at the reception desk, determine the nature of their business, and refer them to the appropriate individuals
- Ensure all visitors sign in and out according to company procedure
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls
- Assist employees with timekeeping and other tasks using the Company’s HR software
- Assist with weekly employee scheduling and monthly new hire orientation
- Order, receive, store, and distribute office supplies and forms
- Organize and maintain the professional appearance of the reception area
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and the public
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years of related experience and/or training
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required
Nice to Have
- At least one year of professional experience in administration
- Experience in an office setting using a multi-line phone or Microsoft Teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Exemplary customer service skills for dealing with the public and coworkers in person and over the phone
