What You'll Do
- Devise research methods and focus on future technical direction to transform the technology landscape.
- Prepare technical specifications and specify laboratory test equipment and processes.
- Make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials within budgets.
- Participate in intellectual property evaluations and development of patent applications.
- Coordinate pilot-plant or initial production runs on new products or processes.
- Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight.
- Coach, review, and delegate work to lower level professionals.
