HITACHI ENERGY UK LIMITED is seeking a Service Engineer for Station Automation, Advanced Services, and OT Security to join our Grid Automation division. Your role will involve developing innovative strategies, providing expert support to the sales team, and managing projects and service contracts focused on cyber security for energy and utility networks. You will be instrumental in shaping solutions for our customers.
What You'll Do
- Deliver professional service and project management for cyber security, IT/OT, networks, and hardware within our network and station control systems.
- Translate customer requirements into tailored solution concepts.
- Ensure the delivery of services stipulated in service contracts and projects.
- Continuously monitor the market and help evolve our service portfolio.
- Support the sales team in solution design, calculation, and proposal creation.
What We're Looking For
- A successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security, or a comparable field. Alternatively, a certified technician or master craftsman with relevant training and professional experience.
- An independent, proactive working style and a readiness to take on responsibility.
- Strong communication skills combined with a high degree of customer orientation.
- Fluent German language skills (spoken and written) and extended English knowledge.
- A valid Class B driver's license.
Nice to Have
- Experience with electrical grid automation, protection and control, cyber security, or complex IT/OT systems and networks.
