Join Thales as a Radio Platform Software Development Engineer and contribute to the development of embedded platform software for Software Defined Radios (SDR). You will be part of a Scrum Agile team responsible for real-time embedded software used across aeronautical, naval, terrestrial, and satellite communication links.
What You'll Do
- Identify customer needs to propose appropriate technical solutions.
- Design software components in collaboration with architects.
- Develop real-time embedded software for VHF and UHF radios.
- Integrate and validate developments on hardware stations or test equipment.
- Contribute to improvement and competitiveness initiatives for the profession.
What We're Looking For
- A Master's degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C/C++ software development.
- Experience with the Agile development cycle.
- Knowledge of embedded systems with GPP and/or DSP processors.
- Knowledge of middleware software development.
- Proficiency in continuous integration and test automation.
- Significant experience designing and developing real-time embedded software components within complex software architectures in C and C++.
- Ability to work in an environment subject to real-time embedded software constraints.
