Thales is hiring a Software Platform Radio Developer to join the Embedded Software Engineering service. You will develop embedded platform software for VHF and UHF radios used in aeronautical, naval, terrestrial, and satellite communications, integrated into Software Defined Radio products. This role serves as both a Scrum Master and an active software developer within an Agile Scrum team.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the role of Scrum Master within the development team.
- Actively participate in software development tasks.
- Animate the Scrum team and organize associated rituals: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Pilot the elaboration and writing of user stories and manage the software development process.
- Maintain, track, and project the development backlog and associated KPIs.
- Contribute to planning sprints, releases, and features by prioritizing and coordinating developments.
What We're Looking For
- A master's degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Experience leading software development activities in an Agile environment and mastery of its associated processes.
- Mastery of C and C++ languages and constraints related to embedded real-time software.
- Knowledge of embedded systems with GPP and/or DSP processors, and Middleware software development.
- Experience with continuous integration and test automation.
- Knowledge or software experience in the Radio domain.

Team & Environment
You will join a Scrum Agile team of 3 to 5 people. This team is part of the Embedded Software Development laboratory within the Embedded Software Engineering service at the HTE center.
