BMW Group is seeking a Quality Software Intern to support the Supplier Quality group's systems and applications. This internship offers hands-on involvement in development, maintenance, process improvement, and data analysis within a leading automotive environment.

What You'll Do

Support the daily activities with systems and applications for the Supplier Quality group.
Develop and maintain current systems, including reporting tools and reporting systems.
Perform data analysis to support department improvement initiatives.
Conduct light front-end and back-end coding with direction from team leads.
Develop tools used for reporting, including MS Applications, Oracle, and APEX.
Plan and implement projects and tasks assigned by management.
Optimize applications and support general project management related to IT development.
Assist department specialists and support process improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Analytics.
A foundational knowledge of a base computer language such as SQL, Java, R, Python, or HTML/CSS.
A self-driven attitude and the ability to absorb information quickly.

Nice to Have

Experience taking projects from customer requirements to final development.
Knowledge of the manufacturing process for automotive.
Project management experience, including complex planning and scheduling.
Experience working in a complex and diverse environment.
Skills with controls software like Oracle, APEX, or SAP.
Programming experience from front request to customer handover.
Team management skills and experience.
Strong communication and presentation aptitude.
An aptitude for building a professional and multi-cultural network.
An understanding of supplier quality management.
