Waveguide LLC, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician. In this role, you’ll ensure operational excellence by conducting audits, inspections, and evaluations according to an established matrix. You’ll manage our computerized Quality Assurance programs and support day-to-day maintenance operations.
What You'll Do
- Conduct all inspections, audits, and evaluations as per the established matrix.
- Investigate all complaints regarding quality issues.
- Prepare, set up, and maintain the computerized Quality Assurance program, scheduling all inspections, audits, and evaluations.
- Operate and maintain the Cleantelligent software system and other related data and hardware systems.
- Support performance improvement and safety activities.
- Audit, research, gather data, and prepare reports on quality assurance and day-to-day operations.
- Respond to emergencies at the facility as directed.
- Submit ideas on continuous quality improvement.
- Take minutes and participate in committees as required.
- Drive a motorized vehicle on a daily basis.
- Perform other related duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma/GED and 10 years’ experience in the maintenance field, with demonstrated skill in one trade and significant understanding of other trades.
- The ability to read, comprehend, and transmit complicated detailed instructions in writing and orally.
- Effective written (spelling/grammar) skills.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & Word.
- Experience with database management, accounting, and various office equipment/systems.
Nice to Have
- An Associate's Degree in an Engineering or Business field, plus 5 years’ of experience in the maintenance field with demonstrated skill in one trade and a good understanding of other trades.
- Previous quality assurance experience in a food manufacturing setting.
