What You'll Do
Perform non-destructive testing and inspection activities to verify compliance with engineering drawings, project specifications, and industry standards. Document findings accurately and maintain detailed records throughout the construction lifecycle. Support the development and execution of pressure testing procedures and contribute to weld inspection planning.
Review and organize NDE/NDT reports, ensuring all data is complete and properly filed. Collaborate with testing personnel to coordinate inspection schedules and project workflows. Develop and implement quality assurance documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (I&TPs), and assist in training other inspectors to uphold consistent standards across teams.
Requirements
- Current ASNT VT II certification or ability to pass the VT II exam
- Documented training and hands-on experience per ASNT-SNT-TC-1A for UT, MT, PT, and RT methods
- Familiarity with ASTM standards and materials specifications
- Ability to interpret weld maps, isometric drawings, and technical documentation
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to travel and work at remote job sites across the intermountain region
