Responsibilities
- Provide medication administration and treatment assistance to residents as ordered by healthcare providers.
- Supervise residents who self-administer medication, adhering to community and regulatory guidelines.
- Report any changes in residents' physical condition or behavior.
- Maintain resident records related to medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
- Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and other daily living activities as needed.
- Follow the schedule of resident needs established by the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid QMAP Certificate.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 51 pounds and assist residents who need physical help.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Nice to Have
- Experience caring for residents with memory impairment may be required if assigned to memory care areas.
