Responsibilities
- Lead test automation initiatives, including planning, developing, and executing automated testing tools.
- Support the organization's shift from manual to automated testing practices.
- Identify and document test cases suitable for automation.
- Manage the execution of automated tests during each software release cycle.
- Detect potential risks early and communicate them effectively to team leads, developers, and QA management.
- Monitor defect tracking and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure software quality standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a software QA specialist, including at least 4 years focused on test automation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in scripting languages used for test automation, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Playwright, Postman, Newman, or Selenium.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyzing test results.
- Strong understanding of QA processes in cloud and SaaS environments.
- Solid knowledge of various testing types, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Extensive experience working in Agile and Scrum development environments.
- Proven leadership in managing quality assurance for teams, particularly in web and cloud-based projects.
- History of collaborating with Product Managers to define requirements and develop test strategies.
- Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks and guiding QA engineers in automation practices.
- Ability to create and execute test cases, document bugs, and interpret test outcomes.
- Track record of providing accurate estimates for testing efforts.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.

- Experience in business intelligence (BI) systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of API and UI automation is considered a strong advantage.
- Prior experience with API testing, Continuous Integration, or GitLab is beneficial.
- Background in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) software is a plus.
