Version 1 is hiring an Automation Test Engineer to be part of an agile team dedicated to helping clients achieve their business transformation goals. You will identify requirements, develop solutions, and provide expert guidance in testing.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute test strategies and scripts.
- Accurately record and monitor issues.
- Provide support to scrum teams to automate tests and guide development.
- Review test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintain quality standards.
- Provide test estimates.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience delivering overnight cross-browser, functional, non-functional, API, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Experience with front-end cross-browser functional testing, device testing, exploratory, systems integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Confidence in building and maintaining frameworks in one or more of: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- Practical experience with open-source tools such as Cypress, Karate, PlayWright, Selenium or similar.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Resident in the UK for five or more years with no more than 30 days per year out of the UK to meet Security Clearance eligibility, or currently hold Security Clearance.
