Version 1 is hiring an Automation Test Engineer

Work within an agile team to support clients in achieving business transformation by developing and executing test strategies, both manual and automated. Support scrum teams in test automation, maintain quality standards across environments, and contribute to continuous improvement through thorough testing practices and accurate issue tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within an agile team to help clients meet business transformation objectives
  • Identify testing requirements, create solutions, and offer expert guidance on testing approaches
  • Develop and carry out comprehensive test strategies and automated test scripts
  • Accurately log, track, and monitor defects and testing issues
  • Assist scrum teams in implementing automated testing to influence and guide development
  • Evaluate test environments and processes to support continuous improvement and uphold quality benchmarks
  • Provide reliable estimates for testing efforts

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automated quality assurance, including overnight cross-browser, functional, non-functional, API, integration, and acceptance testing
  • Experience conducting front-end cross-browser functional testing, device testing, exploratory testing, system integration, and user acceptance testing, including manual methods
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#
  • Hands-on experience with open-source testing tools such as Cypress, Karate, PlayWright, Selenium, or equivalent
  • Prior experience working in an agile development environment
  • Eligible for Security Clearance (SC) by being a UK resident for at least five years with no more than 30 days outside the UK annually, or currently holding SC clearance
