Babelgroup is looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of our technological solutions by executing functional tests, managing defects effectively, and tracking impediments throughout the development cycle. What You'll Do
- Design, execute, and document functional, integration, and regression test cases.
- Identify, record, and manage bugs and defects in tracking tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Track impediments and blockers during the development cycle, coordinating with development and product teams.
- Validate integrations and services through API testing using tools like Postman.
- Analyze application and service logs to identify root causes of errors or unexpected behavior.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (planning, daily, review, retrospective) contributing from a quality perspective.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to improve test coverage and quality.
- Document test results and evidence to ensure traceability.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in QA or software testing roles.
- Experience testing on mobile devices (iOS and Android).
- Proven experience in bug management and incident tracking.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar work and testing management tools.
- Experience in API testing (REST) using Postman or equivalent tools.
- Ability to analyze system or service logs for error diagnosis.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
- Experience working in cloud environments, particularly Azure.
- Experience in monitoring or observability tools.
- ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level) certification.
- Certifications related to Azure or DevOps.
