The Test Automation Developer will lead the testing process from planning through execution, ensuring quality across web and mobile platforms. This role acts as a key contributor in the development lifecycle, driving successful project launches and serving as the quality advocate within a pod-based team structure.
Responsibilities
- Lead the entire testing process, from planning to execution, with full ownership
- Collaborate throughout the development lifecycle to ensure products are reliable and well-tested
- Support successful project deliveries by implementing effective test automation strategies
- Champion quality assurance practices within your development pod
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in test automation
- Proven track record working across both web and mobile platforms
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch
- Proficient in using Cypress and Maestro for test automation
- Solid understanding of modern application architectures, including REST APIs, mobile apps (iOS and Android), and single-page applications
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility for QA outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Capable of clearly explaining complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Quick learner who adapts efficiently to new tools and shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Background in incorporating automated tests into deployment workflows
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

Compensation
$80,000 – $130,000 CAD annually based on experience and skills. Eligible for full benefits package
