Gauntlet is seeking a Protocol Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial protocols, modeling their performance, and developing data-driven strategies to enhance their stability and growth.
What You'll Do
- Analyze the health, risks, and performance of various DeFi and blockchain protocols.
- Develop and propose strategic optimizations to improve protocol efficiency and user adoption.
- Create simulation models to forecast protocol behavior under different market conditions.
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams to translate strategies into actionable insights.
- Communicate complex strategic findings clearly to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a quantitative or strategic role within DeFi, crypto, or traditional finance.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or simulation.
- Deep understanding of blockchain mechanics, financial primitives, and protocol economics.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates may be based in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Remote.
