At AECOM, we are united by a common purpose to deliver a better world. We are looking for a UAE National Proposal Specialist to join our team and support our growth objectives. This role is a key part of our 24-month Advance Graduate Program, offering structured training, coaching, and mentorship while you interface with our growth and operations teams to manage the pursuit process.
What You'll Do
- Assist with small to medium proposals, Letters of Interest (LOIs), and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs).
- Support capture teams with pre-RFP planning and help develop win plans, themes, and discriminators.
- Create proposal schedules and templates, perform production tasks, and demonstrate a clear understanding of compliance.
- Develop compliance matrices and create reasonable, agreed-upon schedules for content development, production, and delivery.
- Contribute to and support the writing, editing, and formatting of resumes and past performance sections.
- Participate in color reviews (Pink and Red team) to build institutional knowledge and may coordinate proposal review meetings.
- Manage the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
- Support Go/No Go and greenlight analysis conversations and maintain CRM data system content as needed.
- Participate in internal debriefs as part of pursuit teams, as requested.
- Understand and follow company quality procedures and approval processes under supervision.
- Perform a self-check of work prior to submitting to others for review and approval.
What We're Looking For
- UAE National with a Family Book, as required by Emiratisation and UAE labor requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft, edit, and format basic proposal content.
- Ability to understand and follow RFI/RFQ/RFP instructions and compliance requirements.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to support coordination, track deadlines, and manage multiple tasks under supervision.
- Foundational analytical and research skills with interest in market research and competitive intelligence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and willingness to learn proposal templates and formatting standards.
- Strong attention to detail, including the ability to self‑check work before team review.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
- Motivation to learn, grow, and participate fully in AECOM’s structured 24‑month Advance Graduate Program.
