AECOM is hiring a Proposal Specialist

This entry-level role is part of AECOM’s structured 24-month Advance graduate program, designed to build foundational expertise in proposal development. As a Proposal Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting responses to client RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs by assisting with planning, compliance, and content coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business development and operations teams to support pursuit strategies
  • Assist in preparing print, digital, and oral proposal deliverables
  • Develop compliance matrices and ensure adherence to client requirements
  • Support the creation of proposal schedules, templates, and production workflows
  • Contribute to writing, editing, and formatting resumes and past performance content
  • Participate in color reviews to strengthen proposal quality and institutional knowledge
  • Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence
  • Maintain data in CRM systems and support strategic planning initiatives
  • Assist capture teams during pre-RFP planning phases
  • Apply win themes and discriminators in marketing materials
  • Support Go/No Go and greenlight decision processes
  • Coordinate review meetings and implement feedback from review teams
  • Perform self-reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission

Qualifications

Applicants must be UAE Nationals with a Family Book, in line with Emiratisation requirements. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field is required. Ideal candidates will have strong written communication skills, organizational ability, and a willingness to learn proposal development fundamentals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, along with a foundational understanding of data systems and CRM platforms. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks under supervision, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
