Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the property's financial performance by achieving occupancy and net operating income targets.
- Deliver precise and timely reports to regional leadership.
- Develop pricing and marketing strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis to sustain high occupancy.
- Identify and apply operational improvements without compromising quality or resident experience.
- Perform regular inspections of the property and vacant units to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure prompt, high-quality service resolution.
- Create an industry-leading living experience for residents by focusing on high-quality product and service delivery while fostering community engagement to support renewals and a positive reputation.
- Recruit, train, and guide a high-performing on-site team.
- Inspire team growth through goal setting, coaching, and regular performance reviews.
- Build a culture of accountability, empowerment, and recognition.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a Property Manager in the multifamily housing industry.
- Strong communication skills with emotional intelligence to lead, coach, and empower others.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality, personalized experience to residents.
- Data-driven, results-oriented, and motivated to exceed goals.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with confidence and grace.
- Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and sales experience.
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), SharePoint, and ADP.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Occasional travel for company events or meetings.
- Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and arms regularly.
- Occasional climbing.
- Extended use of computers or telephones.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to respond promptly to visual and auditory alarms.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions.
