Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Property Claims Adjuster, Contents to manage the full lifecycle for high-value property losses. You will work remotely to investigate, estimate, negotiate, and resolve claims, using advanced tools to ensure accurate assessments and customer-centric outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Handle end-to-end contents claims, including investigation, coverage analysis, documentation, and virtual inspections.
- Leverage technology and pricing software to evaluate contents accurately.
- Collaborate with internal Large Loss teams and external vendors for inspections, pack-outs, and restorations.
- Apply insurance contract knowledge and regulatory expertise in day-to-day claim resolutions.
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with estimating and customer service standards.
- Identify subrogation opportunities and investigate potential fraud.
- Proactively communicate with insureds, claimants, and agents, ensuring transparency and support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes and tools.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of property claims experience, including contents claim handling and large loss cases ($100k+).
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Xactimate, CoreLogic (Symbility), or similar estimating platforms.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses in multiple states.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Technically adept and comfortable with virtual inspection tools and remote collaboration.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change in a growing and fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

- Target Salary Range: $65,000—$85,000 USD. Full Salary Range: $52,650—$101,250 USD + equity options.
