Husqvarna Group is looking for a Projects and Compliance Accountant to report to the UK Finance Director. In this role, you will drive process improvements to ensure best practice and efficiencies in our finance activity, proactively challenging to achieve greater efficiency and data transparency across the organisation.
What You'll Do
- Play an integral role in developing the internal control framework.
- Ensure compliance with UK and IFRS accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with EA and HMRC.
- Support global standardisation and harmonisation within GBS.
- Contribute to solution management.
- Work cross-departmentally by creating strong relationships.
- Seek best practices from other Husqvarna locations.
- Monitor, track, and report implementation plans and progress in pursuit of GBS goals.
- Challenge the management team and organization to improve.
What We're Looking For
- ACA, ACMA, or ACCA qualification plus 3 years PQE.
- Proficiency in the use of JD Edwards (or similar ERP), and Excel.
- Experience of Group Reporting systems uploads and interfaces.
- Relevant experience to support the responsibilities of the role.
- Excellent communication skills, a professional manner and ability to work well as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Can-do attitude and ability to prioritise and work under time pressure.
- Understanding of data privacy standards.
