Husqvarna Group is looking for a Projects and Compliance Accountant reporting to the UK Finance Director. Your main purpose will be to drive process improvements to ensure best practice and efficiencies in finance activity within a fast-paced environment, achieving key KPIs.

What You'll Do

Play an integral role in developing the internal control framework.
Ensure compliance with UK and IFRS accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with EA and HMRC regulations.
Support global standardisation and harmonisation within GBS.
Contribute to solution management.
Work cross-departmentally by creating strong relationships.
Seek best practices from other Husqvarna locations.
Monitor, track, and report implementation plans and progress in pursuit of GBS goals.
Challenge the management team and organization to improve.

What We're Looking For

ACA, ACMA, or ACCA qualification plus 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
Proficiency in JD Edwards (or similar ERP) and Excel.
Experience with Group Reporting systems uploads and interfaces.
Relevant experience to support the responsibilities of the role.
Excellent communication skills, a professional manner, and ability to work well as part of a team.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
A can-do attitude and the ability to prioritise and work under time pressure.
Understanding of data privacy standards.

Team & Environment

You will report to the UK Finance Director and interface with UK and global finance teams, change agents, the GBS Lean Team, the VP Internal Control, Country Officers, and change management.
