SRG Global Mining Services is looking for a Project Scheduler to join our new and growing Transmission and Major Projects team in a full-time, permanent capacity. Based at our Melbourne CBD head office, you will be pivotal in developing, maintaining, and managing construction-related project schedules, ensuring they are realistic and aligned with project goals.
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, master plans, and Work Breakdown Structures across all project phases.
- Apply project scheduling techniques to define the Critical Path and show task dependencies.
- Review and incorporate vendor, subcontractor, and consultant schedule submissions.
- Track schedule performance, generate reports, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Identify activities impacting the critical path and facilitate opportunities to accelerate work.
- Proactively identify scheduling issues, provide early warnings, and propose solutions.
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors as the primary contact for scheduling.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in project scheduling within construction or infrastructure environments.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and critical path analysis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Building, Sciences, Architecture, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
- Certification from Oracle, Project Management Institute (PMI), AIPM, or similar organizations.
