BT Group is seeking a Solution Designer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in a major digital infrastructure transformation, focusing on designing robust solutions and managing the deployment of technology across our operations.
What You'll Do
- Design comprehensive solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Manage the full lifecycle of technology deployment, ensuring smooth implementation and integration.
- Lead and manage change initiatives using established change management principles.
- Gather and translate business and technical needs into clear solution requirements.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps to guide future development.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Design and integrate APIs and web services.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to relevant regulatory compliance standards.
- Manage and optimize resource allocation for project and programme delivery.
- Lead bid management processes for new opportunities.
- Oversee performance monitoring of deployed solutions.
- Apply a solution architecture mindset to create coherent and scalable designs.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in System Design and Solution Design.
- Strong background in Technology Deployment and Cloud Computing.
- Expertise in Project/Programme Management and Bid Management.
- Skill in Requirements Gathering and Change Management.
- Experience with APIs/Web Service Integration.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance frameworks.
- Ability in Resourcing and Performance Monitoring.
- Competence in Product Roadmapping and Risk Management.
- A demonstrated Growth Mindset and strong Decision Making.
