Babcock International is looking for a Project Planner to play a pivotal role within our submarine support projects. You will shape, maintain, and develop the planning data that underpins critical defence engineering programmes, supporting informed decision-making across the enterprise.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Senior Planner in developing, maintaining, and implementing the planning database.
- Compile, reorganise, and standardise project data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Attend project meetings on behalf of the Senior Scheduler where required.
- Produce high-level schedule visuals for programme reviews and stakeholder updates.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across project controls, engineering, and wider support teams.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- GCSEs or equivalent academic qualifications.
- Must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of scheduling and planning methodologies.
- Basic understanding of engineering systems.
- Familiarity with scheduling or planning software.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
