Allina Health is hiring a Project Manager - System Strategic Senior to lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional strategic initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects, interfacing with top-level executives and driving organizational alignment.
What You'll Do
- Plan, organize, and manage system-wide organizational projects, typically greater than $5 million.
- Develop, lead, and manage projects using standard project management methodology and tools.
- Assess, evaluate, and recommend technical and business solutions.
- Develop, negotiate, and implement project prioritization processes.
- Balance resource requirements to determine project staffing needs.
- Support the identification, implementation, and sustainment of an industry standard project portfolio management process.
- Oversee key project planning, execution, and monitoring deliverables including timeline and cost.
- Organize, plan, estimate, and schedule assigned projects and tasks.
- Forecast, develop, and manage project capital and operating budgets.
- May facilitate the development and management of return on investment analysis.
- Evaluate vendor product offerings and lead the selection process.
- Facilitate the development, negotiation, and management of associated contracts.
- Support development of system-wide project tools and methodology.
- Develop standards for project deliverables.
- Identify system standard project management tools and methodologies.
- Mentor other leaders and project managers.
- Coach leaders and project managers on successful utilization of system standard project management tools and methodologies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, healthcare or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience managing project teams and implementations.
- Project management professional or equivalent certification.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Business, healthcare or a related field.
- 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
