RemoteVA PH is hiring a Project Manager (Quantity Surveyor / Architect) to manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires extensive experience in the UK construction market and a blend of architectural design and quantity surveying expertise.
What You'll Do
- Perform preconstruction tasks including takeoff, estimates, scheduling, and scoping.
- Manage tender processes: split packages, prepare documents, send to subcontractors, and compile tender information.
- Review plans and propose value-engineered alternatives.
- Set up and manage JCT contracts.
- Oversee post-contract project management, including CSA, budget control, procurement, cashflow, and quality control.
- Manage handover, O+M, services and utilities, building control, and warranty providers.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, or Architect in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, and architectural design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, or similar software.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Extensive experience in the UK construction market.
