Motorola Solutions is hiring a Project Manager - NorthEast Region to lead the deployment of complex public safety software solutions for state, regional, county, and city-level customers. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects involving Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Mobile, Records, and Jail applications, managing all aspects of profit, budget, schedule, and risk.

What You'll Do

Lead highly complex, large-scale public safety software (CAD/Mobile/Records/Jail) deployment projects.
Direct the work activities of the project team across organizational boundaries.
Drive strategic relationships between internal and external teams and resolve issues between groups.
Be responsible for the profit level for all projects under your control.
Manage project budget and schedule.
Establish and maintain communication plans with project teams and customers.
Establish and execute risk assessment and mitigation plans.
Establish and maintain a quality plan.
Approve invoices and provide system integration quotations and statements of work.
Create, distribute, and present various project status reports and results.
Work with the Project Management Office to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
Participate in pre-contract evaluation of terms and scope to mitigate potential risks.
Participate in pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations.

What We're Looking For

A High School diploma, Associates, or Bachelor’s degree plus Project Management experience in Business Operations, Communications, Finance, IT, or Technology.
Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers.

Team & Environment

You will report to the Regional Deployment/Services Manager and manage a team of individual contributors across a number of disciplines.

Compensation: $75,000 - $150,000 USD

Work Mode

This is a remote position. Candidates must be located in the Eastern US Region.
