F.H. Paschen is hiring a Project Manager to lead a variety of construction projects for both public and private owners. In this role, you will manage the entire project lifecycle using various delivery methods, demonstrating our core values of tenacity, versatility, ingenuity, and pride.

What You'll Do

• Represent and demonstrate the values of F.H. Paschen.
• Manage the entire project, including scheduling, purchasing, quality, and safety.
• Participate in preconstruction services, including estimating and value engineering.
• Supervise Project Engineer(s), Assistant Project Manager(s), and Construction Intern assigned to contract(s).
• Collaborate with other Project Managers to find alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with and monitor Superintendent(s) performance on contracts.
• Review and approve Assistant Project Manager proposals.
• Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners.
• Serve as the main point of contact for project management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, and engineers.
• Understand details of the project scope of work.
• Create and maintain project cost reports.
• Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs.
• Develop field quality assurance and control plans with the Superintendent.
• Collaborate on project safety plans with Superintendent(s).
• Manage MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements.
• Manage EEO/Affirmative Action contract requirements.

What We're Looking For

• A BS in Construction Management or Engineering and/or 6-10 years of construction experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting, and cash flow management.
• Strong computer skills, knowledge of project management and scheduling, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working with a general contractor is required.
