Layton Construction Company, LLC (STO Building Group) was looking for a Project Manager

Layton Construction Company, LLC is looking for a Project Manager to administer, direct, and coordinate field supervisory personnel and subcontractors to maximize profit and control costs. You will serve as the primary interface between the company and the Architect, Engineer, and Owner.

What You'll Do

  • Hire, terminate, and/or change the duties of assigned personnel.
  • Develop and implement normal operating procedures for overall project operations.
  • Approve material purchases, equipment rentals, tools, supplies, and contract agreements.
  • Act as company representative in negotiations with owners.
  • Review reports to keep management informed on time, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Oversee preparation of the project budget and schedule.
  • Audit activities from contract signing through warranty for project efficiency and profitability.
  • Participate actively in the company’s Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Supervise direct reports and maintain good relations with Project Managers and Owners.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of construction management experience.
  • Strong understanding of industry practices and trends.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

  • General Contractor License.

Team & Environment

You will report to and be directly accountable to the Operations Manager.
