Garney Construction is looking for a Project Engineer to serve as the backbone of our project management team, keeping jobs on track. This entry-level position requires great attention to detail and strong organizational and planning abilities.
What You'll Do
- Assist the project management team with negotiating and purchasing materials, maintaining documents, and acting as a point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers.
- Create submittals and RFIs.
- Coordinate projects from start to finish, including assisting with estimating, project setup and closeout, supporting field operations, and maintaining detailed job costs.
- Work professionally with owners and engineers.
- Assist in scheduling projects and crews.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or another related field.
- Willingness to travel and work the days and hours required to ensure project success.
