Garney Construction is hiring a Project Engineer to serve as the backbone of our project management teams. In this detail-oriented role, you will organize and plan to keep critical construction projects on track, from initial setup to final closeout.
What You'll Do
- Create Submittals and RFIs
- Coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Assist the project management team with negotiating and purchasing materials
- Maintain detailed job costs and project documents
- Act as a primary point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers
- Assist with project estimating, setup, and closeout
- Support field operations and assist in scheduling projects and crews
- Work professionally with all project stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Willingness to travel as required for project success
- Commitment to working the days and hours necessary to ensure project goals are met
