AECOM is hiring a Project Controls Manager

About the Role

Oversee the development and implementation of project controls systems, including scheduling, cost estimation, forecasting, and performance reporting. Ensure alignment with client requirements and internal standards across complex infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of project schedules using industry-standard tools
  • Develop and monitor cost baselines and financial forecasts
  • Produce regular progress reports for internal and client stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with contractual reporting obligations
  • Support change management processes with timely data analysis
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify risks and mitigation strategies
  • Maintain integrated master schedules for multi-phase projects
  • Track project performance using earned value management techniques
  • Standardize project controls procedures across project teams
  • Train team members on project controls tools and methodologies
  • Coordinate with finance and procurement departments on budget alignment
  • Facilitate project controls audits and reviews
  • Implement corrective actions based on performance trends
  • Manage interfaces between different project components and systems
  • Ensure data integrity across scheduling and cost platforms
  • Support project closeout with final performance analysis
  • Develop dashboards for executive-level reporting
  • Monitor schedule adherence and identify potential delays
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and cost estimates
  • Maintain version control for project documentation
  • Integrate risk registers with project controls frameworks
  • Support governance meetings with timely data packages
  • Ensure consistency in reporting formats across projects
  • Work with contractors to validate progress claims
  • Optimize controls processes for efficiency and accuracy
