Responsibilities
- Manage multiple contract databases and monitor detailed project expenditures while supporting forecasting, billing, and revenue tracking. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to complete regular and ad hoc tasks. Conduct annual cost savings reviews, process change orders, and perform reconciliations. Support the creation and maintenance of cost control systems to deliver reliable financial data. Help define the work breakdown structure and collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Finance. Analyze data from project and cost systems independently and prepare visual reports using charts and diagrams to communicate cost performance.
- Implement and maintain project planning and scheduling frameworks. Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction processes to build and update basic critical path networks and bar charts. Evaluate current progress compared to the baseline schedule. Assess the effects of design modifications or delays. Report schedule updates to project teams, company leadership, and clients.
- Support the operation of an Earned Value Management System on assigned projects. Evaluate cost and schedule performance metrics such as CPI and SPI. Generate and update project forecasts and status reports. Offer performance assessments with recommendations for corrective actions to improve outcomes.
- Respond to project manager requests for updates on active and new project sites. Provide expert guidance and support to team members in resolving project control challenges. Perform additional duties as required by the role.
