Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a strategic and results-driven Project & Control Engineer/Officer. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Project Controls, you will provide financial and schedule oversight for multiple projects within the Pickering Refurbishment PMO framework, focusing on cost management, schedule management, and change control.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate, facilitate, and drive the Front-End Planning Process.
- Support business units in developing, maintaining, and updating project cost baselines and budgets.
- Perform cost management for projects in accordance with OPG’s project management governance.
- Facilitate and support the project financial close out process.
- Collaborate with project managers to address variances and adjust project plans and budgets.
- Set up applicable source systems (AS9, EcoSys, ePMX, P6) and ensure alignment with project control systems.
- Maintain alignment between source systems and project control systems throughout the project life cycle.
- Develop detailed schedules and provide schedule oversight to establish baselines and perform monitoring control.
- Integrate individual project schedules into the overall program schedule.
- Facilitate and support program reporting at all levels of the organization to internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate project metrics reporting and variance analysis, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare and obtain approval of applicable change control documentation.
- Maintain a document project file that provides an auditable trail throughout the project lifecycle.

- Compensation: $1,704.68 - $2,658.86 per week.
