Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is seeking an Engineer - Track Construction to manage the full lifecycle of earthworks and road construction projects. You will be responsible for planning, tendering, and construction supervision, while coordinating with a diverse set of external parties and ensuring diligent cost management.

What You'll Do

Plan, tender, and award earthworks and road construction projects, including creating specifications, calculating quantities, evaluating bids, and recommending awards.
Execute and supervise construction: brief contractors, provide technical support, conduct inspections, track costs, manage interim and final acceptance, and oversee warranty periods.
Coordinate with external stakeholders such as authorities, utility companies, and engineering offices on utilities, safety measures, and workflows.
Create crossing agreements and compensation calculations with other transport modes in accordance with relevant regulations.
Manage project costs and data in iTWO, determining and updating cost calculations, financing plans, and steering-relevant data per AKVS, and evaluating ZEB data.

What We're Looking For

A completed university degree in civil engineering or comparable expertise, qualifications, and experience.

Nice to Have

Several years of professional experience in this field with comprehensive expertise in road construction, procurement, and legal/regulatory frameworks (e.g., HOAI, VOB/VOL, RSA 21, FStrG, DIN standards for concrete, crossing law including ABBV, AKVS).
Proficient use of job-specific software, especially iTWO for tendering, billing, and costs, and MS Office.
A Class B driver's license and willingness to use a private or company vehicle.
