Lead the coordination of food security and nutrition programs in Moldova, working closely with local partners and vulnerable communities, including women, children, and refugees. Ensure field activities align with organizational strategy and safeguarding standards, conducting regular site visits to monitor implementation and uphold food safety and gender-sensitive practices.
What You'll Do
- Support the planning and execution of humanitarian nutrition programs in collaboration with local stakeholders and international teams.
- Monitor project delivery on the ground, collecting data for M&E and contributing to accurate reporting and program improvement.
- Develop and implement localized fundraising strategies to meet annual financial targets.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities from institutional, corporate, and foundation sources within the region.
- Prepare donor proposals, manage relationships with individual and corporate supporters, and maintain up-to-date records in the central CRM system.
- Produce compelling communication materials that reflect project impact, adhering to branding guidelines and messaging standards.
- Engage with local media, distribute press content, and support media interactions involving field staff.
- Facilitate information flow between local operations and headquarters to ensure strategic alignment.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field such as development studies, social sciences, or humanitarian affairs.
- Proven experience in NGO or humanitarian settings, particularly in food security, nutrition, or rural development programs.
- Background in fundraising, donor engagement, or grant support activities.
- Fluency in English, Romanian, and Russian; knowledge of Ukrainian is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with psychosocial support (PSS) principles is beneficial.
- Proficient in Word and Excel, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
