AECON - Aecon Group Inc. is looking for a Project Administrator (Co-op). Reporting to the Manager, Operations, you will support daily project and site activities to ensure the efficient and profitable execution of underground utility infrastructure installations.
What You'll Do
- Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies and procedures.
- Track and report attendance, board allowances, and vehicle allowances for site personnel.
- Assist with invoice processing and routing for appropriate approvals.
- Establish accounts with local suppliers and assist with material coordination.
- Support preparation and submission of project billing.
- Prepare job packages (permits, locates, materials, documentation).
- Assist with incident and accident reporting as needed.
- Welcome and direct site visitors in a positive and professional manner.
- Maintain organized filing systems, documentation, and project records.
- Perform data entry and other administrative tasks to support project teams.
- Support a fast-paced project environment with shifting priorities.
- Travel to project sites as required.
What We're Looking For
- Working toward a degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort multitasking in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various project team members.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Interest in construction, utilities, or project coordination.
- Commitment to fostering inclusion and diversity.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP is an asset.
