T.Y. Lin International is hiring a Project Accounting Assistant - Biller

T.Y. Lin International is looking for a Project Accounting Assistant - Biller to join our Shared Services Finance team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our project financial operations, handling invoicing, supporting project budgets, and assisting with financial reporting.

What You'll Do

• Add and update project activity in Deltek Vision using project setup and modification forms.
• Prepare complete invoice packages for Project Manager approval, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
• Review all sub-consultant invoices for accuracy and alignment with client and contract requirements.
• Maintain organized project invoice and billing files with all supporting documentation.
• Support project budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Perform necessary labor adjustments and billing transfers.
• Provide payment status updates to support accounts receivable reporting.
• Assist with accounts receivable collection calls and project reconciliation.
• Supply billing information and assist in preparing regularly recurring financial reports.
• Support the preparation of Corporate month-end financial reporting.
• Complete additional support tasks for the Corporate Finance and Project Accounting group.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred OR a minimum of 1-2+ years of professional experience in job costing or project accounting.
• A strong background in collections is required.
• Proficient Excel skills are required.
• A client-focused mindset, always striving to deliver the best solutions.
• Good communication skills.
• A strong commitment to innovation in solving client challenges.
• High levels of integrity and a commitment to ethical, fair, and sustainable practices.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating within a diverse and inclusive team.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry is highly desired; other billable professional services or consulting backgrounds are also desirable.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision software is a plus.
• Prevailing Wage knowledge or experience is a plus, but not required.
