T.Y. Lin International seeks a Project Accountant to join our Shared Services Finance team. This is a remote position for a professional who will ensure projects are set up and billed accurately in line with contracts and company policy.
What You'll Do
- Support Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders, modifications, approvals, and billing.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to address overdue work-in-progress and accounts receivables.
- Interpret project contracts and billing terms.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings.
- Prepare and review project setup forms to ensure budgets and revenue recognition comply with policy and FASB ASC 606.
- Train Project Accounting Assistants on Deltek Vision billing terms, setup, and other functions.
- Set up, review, and approve new project and billing term entries and initial invoice drafts.
- Prepare final invoice packages, including all backup, for Accounting Manager approval.
- Communicate monthly project variances and resolve issues with Project Managers.
- Prepare and review subconsultant payment forms and invoices for proper coding and approval.

- Minimum of 3+ years of project cost accounting experience.

- Knowledge of Deltek Vision software.
- Prevailing Wage knowledge and experience.
