The Raspberry Pi Foundation is looking for a Programme Coordinator, South Africa (Independent Contractor) to develop the Foundation's reach and impact by supporting computing education partnerships and programmes in schools and community settings. You will work closely with the Senior Partnerships Manager to ensure work is effectively planned, organised, and executed.
What You'll Do
- Provide end-to-end support for assigned partners, supporting them to meet their partnership deliverables and outcomes and overcome challenges.
- Coordinate partner and project activities and launches including organising training, timeline management and responding to partner queries.
- Coordinate the South Africa salesforce and project management boards reporting partner progress and risks, supporting clubs verification and safeguarding checks and recommending process improvements.
- Organise internal and external meetings, including scheduling, distribution of agendas and papers, taking minutes and following up on agreed actions.
- Organise the logistics of marketing and events material and support partners to provide content for social media and newsletters.
- Represent the Foundation's work in South Africa.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in project coordination.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software e.g. Slack, Google.
- Understanding of the South African education landscape.
- Willingness to travel within South Africa with overnight stays when necessary.
- A commitment to the Foundation's mission and values, including on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- You must be eligible to work in South Africa.
Nice to Have
- Previous involvement with Code Clubs and/or experience of working with government education or NGO partnerships would be a significant advantage.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: 231,000 - 317,000 ZAR per annum full-time equivalent, dependent on experience

This is a local-country role based in South Africa (remote) with priority given to candidates in the Eastern Cape.
