Centene is hiring a Program Manager III to transform program efficiency and service levels within our organization. You will capture performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and develop the strategies to realize them. Your core responsibility will be to plan, organize, and lead multiple concurrent projects using cross-functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet strategic company objectives.
What You'll Do
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, improve service levels, and ensure regulatory compliance through enhanced operations.
- Develop strategies to realize improvement opportunities and ensure organizational prioritization and resource alignment.
- Utilize corporate and industry standard project management tools and techniques to effectively manage projects.
- Maintain detailed project documentation as needed including action items, issues lists, and risk mitigation plans.
- Provide leadership and effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders, including executive summaries and presentations.
- Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify and secure resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
- Lead cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company objectives.
- Provide functional and technical knowledge regarding overall program requirements and operations.
- Oversee product and initiative tracking by monitoring usage, status, and access/enhancement requests, ensuring dashboards and reports are accurate.
- Ensure reliable, high-quality initiative data by managing Smartsheet Data Shuttle integrations, validating data integrity, and driving outreach for incomplete or at-risk initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of project implementation, product, or program management experience.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree.
- Managed care or prescription benefit management experience.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet and PowerBI.
- Experience in project management and risk tracking.
