Dallas Baptist University invites applications for a Program Director within the Carter School of Business to lead the Management Systems and Information Technology Management (MSITM) graduate program. This full-time role combines program administration with teaching responsibilities in a faith-integrated academic environment.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the MSITM graduate program.
- Recruit students and implement retention strategies.
- Teach a variety of information technology courses consistent with program needs.
- Develop and update curriculum to reflect current industry trends and incorporate experiential learning.
- Coordinate with faculty and staff on curriculum matters, degree requirements, course rotation, and faculty staffing.
- Connect with external organizations and businesses to promote the program and secure student employment opportunities.
- Participate in assurance of learning processes and program evaluations.
- Maintain office hours to mentor and advise students.
- Participate in faculty meetings and serve on university committees.
- Attend campus events, including commencement, and assist in hosting IT-related functions.
- Model and integrate Christian faith in teaching, scholarship, and campus life.
- Engage in professional development sponsored by the University and external organizations.
- Coordinate with the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs on program administration, scheduling, advising, recruitment, and retention.
- Coordinate with University Communications and the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs to promote the program and update marketing materials.

Nice to Have
- Previous experience as a Program Director or Department Chair.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and university communications teams.
