Tecmilenio is hiring a full-time Professor of Mechatronics to join the School of Engineering and Sciences. This role is central to strengthening the academic formation and disciplinary development of the Mechatronics program, consolidating its academic quality, professional relevance, and international projection. You will contribute directly to the formation of highly competitive students within a community focused on education, innovation, research, and excellence.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver rigorous and challenging learning experiences aligned with international standards of academic excellence.
- Strengthen and update the Mechatronics program by integrating contemporary approaches, disciplinary innovation, and professional trends.
- Generate impact through research projects, industry linkage, or relevant academic production.
- Collaborate strategically with the academic body on initiatives that contribute to the positioning and academic consolidation of the School.
- Advise student groups and work in multidisciplinary teams for educational innovation.
What We're Looking For
- PhD in Mechanics or a closely related area.
- Demonstrable experience in teaching at the professional or postgraduate level.
- Practical knowledge in CNC equipment and welding.
Nice to Have
- Industry experience in automotive, aerospace, and/or biomedical sectors.
- A proactive style with strong self-management skills and an ability to adapt to change.
