As a Professional Services Project Manager at Delinea, you will own and manage our large packaged and custom projects from sale through delivery. Your core responsibility is to ensure successful project completion by managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources. You will also serve as the global Program Manager for a strategic cross-functional initiative, leading a Center of Excellence for upgrades.
What You'll Do
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and deliverables from inception to execution.
- Facilitate services project scoping calls, introductory calls, regular status reporting, and other client meetings.
- Facilitate and document project and client requirements.
- Enforce the Global Professional Service Delivery Methodology across all engagements.
- Ensure timely kickoff calls with handoff and set clear expectations for each project.
- Ensure key KPIs including budget, schedule, and others are maintained.
- Ensure timely change requests are submitted for any scope adjustments.
- Keep the Professional Services management team informed of projects requiring intervention.
- Use project management software such as Smartsheet to create clear, actionable project plans.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to keep them informed about client engagements.
- Collaborate with Sales and Professional Services leadership on engagement status and blockers.
- Work closely with clients’ project managers to ensure joint understanding of scope, timeframe, and deliverables.
- Work closely with the Sr. Director of Project Management to align processes and methodology.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical or communications field or equivalent experience.
- PMP, Prince2, or similar PMI certification.
- 5+ years of full-time project management experience for software or IT companies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Proven ability to effectively engage and work with clients, sales, consultants, and other technical roles.
- Solid experience with a project management tool such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc., and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management system such as Salesforce.
Nice to Have
- A Project Management related degree is a strong plus.
- Cyber Security Project Management experience is a plus.
- Experience using a Professional Services Automation tool such as FinancialForce is a plus.
- Experience using a Customer Success platform such as Gainsight is a plus.

You will work with consultants, architects, and other Project Managers in the Professional Services team, and with staff from other departments including Technical Support, Sales, Engineering and Partners. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Professional Services, Project Management.
