Postman is hiring a Professional Services Manager to develop and lead a high-performing, billable Professional Services team. You will be responsible for building the services program from its infancy, designing scalable offerings, and driving operational efficiency to align with our strategic objectives.
What You'll Do
- Develop and scale a globally distributed Professional Services team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Work closely with Sales and Technical Pre-Sales teams to scope professional services engagements, define success criteria, and set clear project expectations.
- Collaborate with Customer Engineering, Sales, and Product teams to build packaged service offerings.
- Define pricing, packaging, branding and sales playbooks to bring services to market.
- Align services offerings to overall customer maturity framework.
- Design and refine professional services packages that drive measurable value.
- Hire, train, and mentor a team of Solution Architects and Consultants, optimizing onboarding processes.
- Define and implement KPIs, playbooks, and best practices to enhance service delivery and process standardization.
- Establish efficient documentation and knowledge-sharing processes to ensure alignment between Professional Services, Sales, Support, and Product teams.
- Develop repeatability of services that can be scaled through a partner delivery ecosystem.
- Identify and activate strategic delivery partners.
- Continuously identify inefficiencies in service delivery and implement process improvements.
- Provide financial reporting of booking, revenue, and utilization.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in Professional Services.
- 3+ years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading and scaling Professional Services or Solutions Architecture teams in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Strong background in technical services, customer success, and solution delivery, with a deep understanding of SaaS and cloud technologies.
- Experience in defining and implementing service offerings, playbooks, and operational frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making and process optimization.
- Experience in building services offerings and supporting business artifacts from infancy.
- Prior experience in managing services P&L.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Background in enterprise software or cloud technologies is highly desirable.

Work Mode
